How to Find Your Unique Client Attraction Formula

In this episode of the Empowered Expression podcast, we’re talking about the thing that you don't know you need... but that you absolutely, definitely DO need. And that is: how to build your own unique client attraction marketing formula.

This isn't something that I get asked about a lot on Instagram. You guys normally ask me about things like: “how to create content that converts, connects and resonates” and “how to find ideal clients” and all that kind of stuff.

But today’s episode actually covers a very important strategy when it comes to attracting your ideal coaching clients online.

Today, we’re getting clear on your energetic strategy and Imma be real with you: this conversation is not your basic conversation on energy and energetic strategies. This is some next level sh*t.

So when it comes to attracting clients in the past, maybe it’s felt really random for you and completely out of your control. Maybe there was NO client attraction marketing formula in place at all. If that’s the case, this episode is going to help you  recognize that... it has never been random.

Attracting clients isn’t random, it’s very much within your control.

I know, groundbreaking, right?

There are two parts to your unique client attraction formula.

  1. There's the ”ride-or-die” content strategy. And this includes knowing how to market your offer, how to sell, how to connect with clients, all that jazz. And that's basically what we talk about in every other episode of Empowered Expression. Not all of them, but a lot of them, right? So if you have questions about all that jazz, just binge the podcast. 😜

  2. And then there’s the energetic strategy. This is all about uncovering the unique way that your energy shifts in those moments when you’ve attracted clients in the past. It’s not super out there woo, it’s a reproducible phenomenon.

The second ingredient of your client attraction marketing formula is where the magic lives... it’s your unique energetic strategy.

Everyone has their own unique, energetic strategy. For some people it's a laissez faire approach, for others it's diehard strategy, etc. Honestly, there are as many possibilities as there are humans doing business on the internet. And today we're going to be talking about how you can figure out exactly what yours is.

Because real talk - most online marketing humans are just teaching the energetic strategy that has worked... for them.

But the magic happens when you figure out what’s actually been working for you all along and then get strategic in how you apply it in your own business. Feel me?

So how do you figure that out? By looking at patterns in your life and how they overlap with clients coming into your business. I know that sounds super vague, stay with me - there’s an example coming to show you what I mean. ☺️

This episode to breaks down several tangible examples for you so that you have a clear idea of how it’s already playing out in your own life. At the end of this episode, you get some super rad journaling exercises to help you identify your unique energetic strategy. We also jam out on creating a specific practice to turn the randomness of client attraction into something reproducible and predictable. Amazing, right?

So to dive into all of it, you're definitely going to want to listen to the episode. But let's go ahead and give one example of an energetic strategy right here, right now.

For example, my energetic strategy is to build healthy boundaries.

When I’m coming up against the edge of my comfort zone, the strategy that helps me hit the next level of expansion is to sit down and get clear on my boundaries. Say that I know I can run my signature program, Bigger Than A Brand, with 10 people in it. I know how many hours and how much energy that will take. So in the next lunch, I'd probably fill those first 10 spots really quickly because there's no resistance to it.

And then... I would bump up against the comfort zone in order to fill the next 10 spots, I’d need to deploy my energetic strategy: setting new healthy boundaries.

Without this practice of setting boundaries, my subconscious would keep worrying that we wouldn’t be able to handle it and self sabotage would kick in.

Are you picking up what I’m laying down?

You’ve probably experienced this in your own life and/or business before. Maybe you easily enrolled clients at a “comfortable” price point, but as soon as you went to raise your prices, sh*t got weird and self sabotage kicked in.

That’d be about the time to deploy your unique energetic strategy.

For me, that looks like my practice of brainstorming boundaries. I set aside time to get honest with myself about what life would look like week-to-week if I actually hit my goal. What would that really require of me? How much time and energy? How can I set up healthy boundaries to protect my good vibe so that I can consistently deliver at the level of quality Bigger Than A Brand is known for?

And like clockwork, once I set up those healthy boundaries it becomes much, much easier to welcome in those clients! This is why I call it an attraction marketing formula because it creates predictable and reproducible results. Not random client attraction chaos. Nobody wants chaos when it comes to attracting clients.

So what is your energetic strategy? What does it look like and how can you use it to your advantage...?

That's what we're talking about in today's episode, take a listen.
